To be understood There is nothing no one wants more But you don't You won't listen You can't even begin to understand What it's like to be me The troubles I have The things I see A problem for me mightn't be one for you We are differently can't you see me and you I am me I think differently I have problems you will never understand I'm not like you I'm different you see I don't fit in like you You claim your ways always right And mine always wrong You abuse my passions and interests And try to act strong So before you judge me on what you see Take a look deeper at the person that is me Maybe you will understand one day

Life is so endless Like a waterfall that never ends Twisting round the corners Turning every bend Maybe life would be easier If it was just a simple stream Moving peacefully and slowly One eternal dream But life is unpredictable Like a rushing race Don't know who is going to win As everyone picks up the pace We may not know what where doing here Or even the reason why Just trying to understand Till the day we die So although death is certain Like a Wilting flower Why does it happen no ones knows Maybe some greater power So when your time comes   You will understand Then we will be together again As one, Hand in hand
